public boolean lastDigitIsEven(int number)

Given an integer, return true if the last digit is even.
Otherwise return false;

public boolean lastDigitIsEven(int number) {
  int lastDigit = number % 10;
  boolean even = false;
  if (lastDigit % 2 == 0) {
    even = true;
  }
  return even;
}

You can extract the last digit in a number (the number in the 1s column)
by taking the remainder when you divide by 10:
lastDigit = n % 10.

lastDigitIsEven(22) → true
lastDigitIsEven(114) → true
lastDigitIsEven(35) → false

...Save, Compile, Run (ctrl-enter)

public boolean lastDigitIsEven(int number) { }
